Most of my time off from school, I try to travel along with my family. I have been to many places for how young I am. However I would love to see California. It is one place I have never been to and it is known to be a great tourist spot. I have been to New York three times, which is a great tourist spot, but I think going somewhere I have never been before would be amazing.

Whenever I see movies done in California it always makes me want to visit. I love seeing palm trees and beaches because I personally like they are beautiful.  I enjoy shopping and I know there are plenty of stores I can hand my money out to. I have heard of a “star tour” which I have only seen on TV shows that actually drive you around to see where the famous people live at.  

I would love to visit California because it offers everything I would like to experience, I travel a lot with my family, but I think going on the other side of the country with my friends would be an amazing experience. Once spring break comes around my friends and I are planning on going to Cabo in the upper part of California.

I enjoy experiencing different cultures of families. I love seeing how some people live because it really opens your eyes on how good you really have it. Last summer I flew down to Florida to experience something new. I went on a cruise ship, which I have been on before, but I received the chance to go to Cozumel, Mexico. Cozumel is a great tourist spot because when you’re looking around you find some things that are really eye opening.

The second day on the cruise ship we ported at Cozumel. The thing about Cozumel is that you can’t always trust different foods they have down there. You get provided a list of safe restaurants for the day and the rest is up to you. It was really cool to experience their kind of foods because it wasn’t something you can get around Michigan. I am not a big fan of trying new things, but I can honestly say that the “real” Mexican food is amazing.

Looking around at the people sitting on both sides of the streets trying to sell what they can so they can get a little bit of money is depressing. Fortunately I am able to live an enjoyable life and it was hard seeing the people begging. Of course we came there to shop so it was nice to give help to the people in need. Mexico is where most of our goods come from and seeing where it actually is being made is a great experience. I really enjoyed visiting Cozumel, it was a once in a lifetime experience and I am really happy I was able to go.

This blog is dedicated to my findings of my research. I did my research paper on year round schooling for educators. I want to become a teacher when I am older and I believe that this would be a better system. I found a lot of research on how it benefits teachers and students. Most of the results were that they like having breaks because of the refreshing and relaxing of the time period. I also found out that the long summer breaks makes kids forget the curriculum and that the year round schooling bases there breaks around that reason. Research also showed that academics will be higher if this takes place because the length of the school days will be better structured. It also showed that all the schools around the districts should all change so that all the sports and club’s schedules will work out. Overall I found out that this type of schooling will be better for both students and educators and I believe the schools should put this into action.  When benefiting the educators they will have less stress during school because they won’t have to worry about trying to fit the entire curriculum in at one time or have to review the information from last year. They will be able to pick up where they left off of.
